Looks like quarantine doesn’t mean much to some of your fav celebs, Roomies! Dave East is the latest to be placed into handcuffs while cruising through New York. Video of the incident surfaced online, and Dave can be seen being removed from an SUV and put into handcuffs.
Fox 5 NY confirms the details of the incident, reporting that Dave was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Astoria, Queens. Officers reportedly pulled the SUV over after they say the driver failed to signal when making a turn.
Authorities say they smelled a “strong odor” of marijuana and took a passenger–Dave–out of the vehicle. Officers report that East became aggressive and non-compliant with them, and was taken t the 114th precinct.
Dave East was reportedly issued two summonses for disorderly conduct and marijuana possession. He was released shortly after cooperating with investigators.
As we previously reported, Sheck Wes was also taken into custody during a traffic stop in New York yesterday, and was released shortly after. Looks like the cops in NYC are not playing, Roomies! Stay safe out there
