It has been some months since T.I. has faced backlash for admitting that he goes to the gynecologist with his daughter Deyjah to check her hymen to make sure that she is still a virgin.
However, the topic was revisited, as viewers got to see Deyjah’s reaction to the situation on the latest episode of “T.I. & Tiny’s: Friends & Family Hustle.” While the family was on vacation, the news started to make headlines, and that definitely made things awkward between T.I. and Deyjah on the show.
Many people were not able to hear from Deyjah about the matter until now. On the show, she talked about the double standard when it comes to her and her brothers. She said, “My dad even jokes with King about becoming a baby daddy. He would never joke like that with me.”
While talking to her cousins, Deyjah said, “I’m not gonna be able to really get through to him, like connect how I need to.” As her cousins encouraged her to talk to her father about the situation, she continued to say that her father always plays the victim.
At that moment, Deyjah continued to express how hurt she had been and how his comments impacted their relationship.
As we previously reported, at the time, T.I. appeared on the “Ladies Like Us” podcast and when asked if he had the sex talk with his daughter, he said, “Not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen. Yes, I go with her. I go with her. This one time after her 16th birthday celebration, I put a sticky note on the door ‘Gyno tomorrow 9:30.”
T.I. later visited Jada Pinkett Smith on “Red Table Talk” to talk about the moment.
