<p>Cassie&#8217;s lawsuit against Diddy for abuse, assault, and trafficking is just days behind him. The former couple <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/cassie-diddy-settle-lawsuit-release-statements/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">settled</a> on Friday (Nov. 17), just one day after she filed in New York. Over the weekend, The Shade Room <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cz2PFTzp2hQ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">obtained exclusive images</a> of Diddy following the settlement.</p>
<p>The photos mark the first time Diddy&#8217;s been spotted since he and Cassie decided to &#8220;amicably&#8221; settle. Photographers captured Diddy at his Miami home.</p>
<p>The music mogul wore navy blue sweatpants, a black tee, and black sneakers in the photos. He appeared to be lounging in a courtyard area in his home. Over 80 images show Diddy standing, sitting, and hunched over with his head in his hands.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Diddy &; Cassie Settle Graphic Lawsuit</h3>
<p>On Saturday, the producer issued a follow-up statement about the settlement, saying it was not an admission of guilt. He issued the statement via his lawyer Ben Brafman.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs&#8217; decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>As for Cassie, she told the New York Times on Friday that she settled on terms that were in her control.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie said. “I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>At this time, the amount Cassie and Diddy settled on is not public information.</p>
<p>However, in an initial statement to the lawsuit, Diddy&#8217;s lawyer Ben accused Cassie of &#8220;blatant blackmail.&#8221; He said the &#8216;Official Girl&#8217; singer had been trying to get $30 million from Diddy at the &#8220;threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship.&#8221;</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Cassie&#8217;s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, said the producer had offered Cassie &#8220;eight figures&#8221; so she wouldn&#8217;t file the lawsuit, and Cassie declined.</p>

<p>As previously reported, Cassie sought &#8220;injunctive, declaratory, and monetary relief&#8221; from the producer. She filed under New York&#8217;s temporary act that allowed adult assault and abuse survivors to file against alleged perpetrators between last November and the 23rd of this month.</p>
<p>Her lawsuit accused Diddy of rape, sexual abuse and trafficking, physical assault, and introducing her to a drug-fueled lifestyle. The &#8220;Me&;U&#8221; singer revealed that she still suffers nightmares recalling her trauma and has struggled with the aftermath of addiction.</p>
<p>According to the court docs, Casie sought <em>&#8220;justice for the decade of her life that Mr. Combs took away from her with threats of violence, excessive use of drugs, physical and psychological abuse, and sexual slavery.&#8221;</em></p>
