<p>#Roommates, when it comes to throwing epic parties, few people come close to Diddy’s level. That was exactly the case when the music mogul/entrepreneur finally held his 50<sup>th</sup> birthday party following his actual birthday back in November. Practically every A-list name was in attendance…including <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/kanye-west-reportedly-set-to-take-his-sunday-service-to-yankee-stadium-with-joel-osteen/">Kanye</a> West and Jay Z, who had the reunion fans have been waiting years for.</p>
<p>If you happened to be on social media recently, you probably had your timelines flooded with <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1102942/kanye-west-and-jay-z-reunite-at-diddy-s-50th-birthday-party-3-years-after-feud">endless photos and videos</a> from Diddy’s star-studded 50<sup>th</sup> birthday bash. Not only did he have the party filled with some of the biggest names in entertainment—he also managed to get Kanye and Jay Z to reunite following their estranged friendship, which started because Jay didn’t come to Ye’s 2014 wedding to Kim Kardashian. Things got worse during Kanye’s on stage breakdown following Kim’s 2016 Paris robbery, in which he called out Jay’s lack of support during such a tough time.</p>
<p>The recent reunion between the two was the first time that Kanye, Jay Z, Kim and Beyoncé were all photographed together and at the same event since 2016 (pre-Paris robbery) at a MTV VMA after party. Ye and Jay were all smiles, hugs and friendly handshakes, as they genuinely seemed happy to see each other after being apart for so long.</p>

<p>Jay Z previously spoke on his strained relationship with Kanye back in 2017:</p>
<p><em>“It&#8217;s a complicated relationship with us because Kanye came into this business on my label, so I&#8217;ve always been like his big brother. And we&#8217;re both entertainers. It&#8217;s always been like a little underlying competition there with your big brother. And we both love and respect each other&#8217;s art too, so it&#8217;s like, we both- everyone wants to be the greatest in the world. Then it&#8217;s like a lot of other factors that play in it. But it&#8217;s- we&#8217;re gonna always be good.”</em></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s hoping that these two can get their friendship back on track…permanently.</p>
