<p>It looks like Mickey Mouse and the rest of them are ready to welcome back their visitors. Disney is ready to take the next steps when it comes to reopening its theme parks. On Wednesday, it was announced that their parks are scheduled to reopen for the first time since shutting down due to the spread of the coronavirus.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/27/media/disney-world-open-coronavirus/index.html">CNN Business</a></em>, Disney theme parks are planning to begin a phased reopening on July 11<sup>th</sup> for their Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks. On July 15<sup>th</sup> their Epcot and Hollywood Studios will open.</p>
<p>As you can imagine there will be some safety precautions enforced to make theses reopening’s possible. All employees and guests will be required to wear face coverings and will have their temperatures taken before entering the park.</p>
<p>The capacity at the park will also be reduced, and fireworks, parades, and any other events that result in large crowds are temporarily suspended. The theme parks will also incorporate cashless transactions by expanding contactless payments. And there will be more hand sanitizing stations added to the parks as well.</p>
<p>Disney World and <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/disneyland-officially-closing-beginning-march-14th-as-coronavirus-concerns-grow/">Disneyland</a></em> in Anaheim, CA closed back in March as cases of the coronavirus started to increase.</p>
<p>The plans to reopen Disney World were approved by the Orange County government on Wednesday and it still needs to be approved by Orange County&#8217;s mayor and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.</p>
