<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/dj-envy-gia-casey-step-in-talk-cheating-faking-it-in-the-bedroom-healing-more/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Envy</a> is shedding some light on why he and his family turned down &#8220;several&#8221; offers to join Bravo TV&#8217;s &#8216;Real Housewives of New Jersey&#8217; reality television show.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">DJ Envy Explained His Stance During A Recent Interview</h3>
<p>During an interview with <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/04/04/dj-envy-does-not-want-join-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a>, the 45-year-old radio host explained why he and his family declined to join the cast.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don’t want to a be the token black person on the show. They would have to make it make sense, and we not into that type of beef and drama. When I see you fighting each other and flipping tables that’s not my family.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Additionally, he explained that his family has been approached &#8220;a couple of times&#8221; about joining the show. However, it just doesn&#8217;t fit his &#8220;vibe.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;We have been asked a couple of times about joining the &#8216;Real Housewives,&#8217; but I don’t think that’s for us. I don’t know how we would fit into all of that. I will be honest, I don’t see myself hanging out with [the cast] so much. When they go out and do certain things, it is just not my vibe.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Despite Their Rejection, The Casey Family Does Have Ties With Some Of The &#8216;RHONJ&#8217; Cast</h3>
<p>Despite his family&#8217;s rejection of the offer, DJ Envy explained that his family does have ties with some members of the show&#8217;s cast. However, he believes his family just wouldn&#8217;t &#8220;fit in.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I do know all the cast members of New Jersey. My kids and their kids know each other from dance or gymnastics. So that’s how I know Teresa and Joe Gorga, and all of those other people — but I don’t think we would fit in.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>DJ Envy, whose real name is Raashaun Casey, has been married to his wife, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/dj-envys-wife-gia-casey-believes-her-late-mothers-battle-with-dementia-helped-save-their-marriage/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gia Casey</a>, reportedly for 22 years.</p>

<p>The couple shares six children which, include Madison, Logan, London, Jaxson, and Brooklyn. The Casey&#8217;s recently welcomed their youngest child, a daughter named Peyton, in November 2021.</p>
