According to DJ Funkmaster Flex, Jay-Z set him up and stole his business idea. We’re about to break it all down for you like this. DJ Funk Flex has a high ranking website called InFlexWeTrust.com. He went on to make an app that is also doing very well. Jay-Z also has a website called LifeAndTimes.com which DJ Funk Flex has publicly called “trash with zero hits” on HOT97 .
DJ Funk says that a writer (perpetrating as a writer for Jay’s website) hit him up via email two years ago asking to feature him in an article about his app that he created. He says the writer asked him a ton of questions about his app (the inner workings, concept, etc) but he became suspicious when none of his answers to those questions were actually featured in the article. He was surprised to find out that the writer did not work for Jay’s website, and even more shocked when Jay dropped an app for the “Magna Carter” that was, what he calls, a replica of his app.
DJ Funk Flex says he billed it to the game and moved on until he received yet another email from a writer who claims to work at “Life + Times” yesterday morning. This time, the writer wanted to feature him in an article about his upcoming tour with Dipset.
Funk says he’s positive that Jay-Z does not like Dipset because when he used to DJ at the 40/40 club he was specifically told not to play ANY Dipset music. It’s also known that Cam’ron and Jim Jones don’t mess with Jay-Z like that. Funk feels as though Jay-Z is using this article to fish for information. He decided he had enough and it was time to call Jay-Z out.
Dang if this is true, then Jay-Z is a little shady. Peep the video below to hear DJ Funk Flex go off on Jay-Z like he’s an average Joe on the block!
