<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/dj-mustard-chanel-thierry-temporary-child-support/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Mustard</a> is looking back on his weight loss journey and showing fans how far he&#8217;s come. The 32-year-old music producer recently took to Instagram to give fans an update.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">DJ Mustard Reflected On His Pre-Weight Loss Body</h3>
<p>On April 3, the Los Angeles native took to his Instagram Story to share a few photos of himself prior to his weight loss transformation.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I look at shit like this everyday and get motivated! Smfh.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The producer then shared a current video of himself lifting weights in the gym.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Lowest weight I’ve ever been as an adult.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>Since then, Mustard has taken to his Instagram Story to share more videos of himself working out. The 32-year-old has also shared motivating messages and videos alongside his friends, motivating them to continue on their weight loss journey as well.</p>
<p>Additionally, it also seems like the producer sustains his own garden at his home.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Mustard Previously Gave Fans Insight On His New Mindset</h3>
<p>In June 2020, Mustard celebrated his 30th birthday. In a now-deleted Instagram post, the producer celebrated the milestone.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I’ve debated on not posting on my birthday because of all that’s going on but then i thought to myself, do you know how hard it is making it to the age of 30 as a black successful man in this world!!!? I do, and today i’m celebrating 30 years of life!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>He also gave fans more insight into why and how he decided to change his lifestyle, <a href="https://hiphopdx.com/news/mustard-weight-loss-physical-transformation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HipHopDX</a> reports.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I made a promise to myself in January before the lock down that I was gonna focus more on my health, myself, get off of social media, and ignore all the distractions that i didn’t need! Well here I am today, 30 years old and 47 pounds down!!!!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Producer Has Also Detailed What Jump-started His Weight Loss Journey</h3>
<p>In 2016, Mustard also shared additional insight into why he began his weight loss journey during an exclusive interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSNgDPKcwlk" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>The Real</em></a>. The &#8220;Ballin'&#8221; producer explained that finding the right clothes and wanting to be more active with his children was a big motivation.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I like dressing in designer clothes and it’s hard to buy them if you’re overweight. I got tired of going in stores and I couldn’t fit anything, and overall I wanted to be healthy. My son runs around the house and I want to be able to catch him.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>Mustard also shared some insight into how he started his journey.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I went to this guy, he’s called Dr. Levy, I did a lot of water and no carbs at all, basically no sugar. I talked to Dr. Dre for a long time about losing weight. I didn’t really work out or nothing like that. I didn’t start working out until I started seeing results and I’m like, &#8216;Hey, I gotta keep this going.&#8217; I just stayed away from sodas and juices.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
