<p>TSR Updatez: It was reported early Saturday that DMX had been hospitalized after a drug overdose triggered him to have a heart attack. Hours after the news broke, DMX&#8217;s attorney came forward with an update about his condition.</p>
<p>While speaking with PIX11 news, Murray Richman said that DMX has been taken off of life support and is breathing on his own following reports that he was in a &#8220;vegetative state&#8221;.</p>
<p>Despite the positive report, Richman says that he is still concerned about X&#8217;s condition, and he wouldn&#8217;t be being honest if he didnt say he was worried.</p>
<p>&#8220;<em>He has been taken off the life support system and is breathing on his own but we are concerned,</em>&#8221; Richman said. &#8220;<em>It would be disingenuous of me to suggest that I am not a worried man at this particular point</em>.</p>

<p>As we <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/dmx-reportedly-in-critical-condition-following-drug-overdose/">previously reported</a>, DMX was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering a heart attack allegedly brought on by a drug overdose. Sources close to the situation said that he had very little brain functionality and was in a &#8220;vegetative state&#8221;.</p>
