Looks like Donald Trump has had a change of heart, Roomies! Coronavirus patients in New York are in desperate need of ventilators to ensure they can breathe, and initially Trump insisted there was no no need for them.
“I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You know, you go into major hospitals sometimes, they’ll have two ventilators. and now all of a sudden they’re saying can we order 30,000 ventilators?” he said on national television.
New York’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, continues to warn that the state’s hospitals will not be able to handle to extreme influx of patience unless the federal government helps with ventilators. And it looks like Donnie has finally had a strange change of heart.
In a few harsh tweets, he demands that General Motors do whatever they have to in order to make more ventilators.
As usual with “this” General Motors, things just never seem to work out. They said they were going to give us 40,000 much needed Ventilators, “very quickly”. Now they are saying it will only be 6000, in late April, and they want top dollar. Always a mess with Mary B. Invoke “P”.

It is unclear how the ventilators will be distributed, or even when they will get to hospitals. It is clear, however, that the state’s need for them continues to grow, as it is fighting over 30,000 cases of COVID-19, and the numbers are continuing to increase.
