As many of you know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped from under the Royal Family to do things their own way, and the couple recently moved to Canada. However, recent reports have stated that they have made their way to Los Angeles amid the coronavirus outbreak.
On Sunday, Donald Trump took to Twitter with the message for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He said, “I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!”
According to The Hill, according to the reports the couple allegedly moved to Los Angeles, which captured the attention of many people due to the spread of the coronavirus.
Page Six reports that a rep for Harry and Meghan spoke out following Trump’s comment and said, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the US government for security resources. Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”
The couple will reportedly lose their status of being “internationally protected” because of Megxit.
As we previously reported, earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth II showed her support for Harry and Meghan moving to Canada and said, “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK.”
