<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/?s=drake&;post_type=post" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Drake</strong></a> bought himself another championship ring, this one worth $100,000, after his team won this year&#8217;s SBL Recreation Basketball League Championship for the second year in a row.</p>
<p>The Toronto rap star and well-known basketball fanatic once again enlisted Jason of Beverly Hills to create the diamond ring that reads &#8220;Back to Back,&#8221; and &#8220;NTIG Champions&#8221; on the face of it and &#8220;The Boy&#8221; and the number 11 on the sides.</p>
<p>In an Instagram Story, Champagne Papi showed off the massive rec league championship ring, and captioned &#8220;Better luck next year,&#8221; over the image, according to screenshots obtained by <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/drake-celebrates-rec-basketball-league-championship-with-100k-diamond-rings" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Complex</strong></a>.</p>
<p>He had previously worked with the renowned jeweler on his team&#8217;s last championship ring, however that one reportedly only cost $50,000.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Drake Enlists Renowned Jeweler To The Stars Jason Of Beverly Hills For Second Championship Ring In A Row</h3>
<p>This time around, Jason went all out with 15 carats of flawless diamonds, with the piece donning two large diamonds to symbolize Drizzy’s back-to-back titles.</p>

<p>Jason released a statement on the ring, and said he &#8220;wishes he could play ball professionally&#8221; and that he &#8220;respects Drake for making his dream a reality with his own league.&#8221;</p>

<p>The jeweler-to-the-stars had previously worked with Drake in 2019 to design his custom $150,000 ring in celebration of the Toronto Raptors&#8217; championship win that year.</p>
<p>That one featured 30 carats of diamonds and more design than any ring in NBA history, Complex reports.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Drake&#8217;s Jeweler-To-The-Stars Designed Seven NBA Championship Rings Over The Years</h3>
<p>Jason has created seven NBA championship rings over the years for a few different teams, with the Lakes In 2019, 2010 and 2020, the Warriors in 2015, 2017, and 2018, and the Bucks in 2021.</p>

<p>The Beverly Hills-based jeweler added that for this year&#8217;s recreation league championship ring, Drake &#8220;had a clear vision of what he wanted&#8221; and that the two &#8220;worked really well together to make (it) happen.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Drake&#8217;s Passing Down His Love For Basketball To Four-Year-Old Son, Adonis</h3>
<p>It&#8217;s no secret that Drake is a massive fan of basketball, and has even been training his son in the ways of the sport for years.</p>
<p>He featured his four-year-old son Adonis in an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd_0oeijGlj/?utm_source=ig_embed&;ig_rid=cb6c663a-4f45-4a70-b61d-c6df909ee38d" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Instagram</strong></a> video in May, where his son boasted about his basketball skills after making four of five shots in a row.</p>

<p>The 35-year-old rapper has emerged himself in NBA culture as well, having been pictured alongside a victorious LeBron James after the Lakers won the championship in June.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Recreation League Championship Comes A Week After Lawsuit Against Drake, LeBron James</h3>
<p>Drake and LeBron were actually both recently sued together, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/drake-lebron-james-sued-for-10-million-over-name-of-hockey-documentary-duo-claiming-lawsuit-loophole/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>The Shade Room</strong></a> previously reported, for $10 million after being accused of stealing the rights to the name of their upcoming documentary about a segregated hockey league.</p>
<p>The two are being sued by former head of the NBA players union, Billy Hunter, who claims he owns the exclusive legal rights of any movie produced about Canada’s Colored Hockey League which formed back in 1895 and was in operation until 1925.</p>
<p>The devoted Toronto also regularly seen court side during Raptors&#8217; games.</p>
