On Wednesday, DJ Khaled debuted a snippet of what fans can expect from Weezy F Baby and his upcoming mixtape, ‘No Ceilings 3.’
As Khaled took to Instagram and played the track, he was quite lit about the collab. He said, “This Lil’ Wayne and Drake…This Lil’ Wayne and Drake…No Ceilings 3, there’s a record on there with Wayne and Drake. This s**t serious. Alright! Push play.”
When the track played, we heard 2016 Drake on the song, vibing out. Shortly after, Lil’ Wayne followed.
One Twitter follower wrote, “DRAKE APPLYING PRESSURE. Another wrote, “HURRY UP AND DROP NO CEILINGS 3.”
According to Complex, Wayne plans to release the mixtape Friday, November 27th. He also stated, “ The mixtape game seemed to be a dying art and since I’m one of the pioneers of the craft, and it played such a big part in my career, I felt it was only right to resurrect it,” Lil Wayne tells Complex. “Also, it’s a lot of songs out here I wanted to kill my way!”
‘No Ceilings 2’ was released back in 2015 and featured Yo Gotti, Turk, and Future–just to name a few.
