<p>With his <em>For All the Dogs </em>album — his fourth in three years — dropping, <strong>Drake </strong>is now announcing that he&#8217;s planning to go on a brief hiatus to prioritize his health and wellness.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">He Wants To Step Back From Music For &#8220;Maybe A Year Or Something&#8221;</h3>
<p>The Toronto-bred artist made his announcement during an episode of SiriusXM&#8217;s <em><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gnKHRVMH7E" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Table for One</a> </em>series that premiered on Friday (Oct. 6).</p>
<p>After reflecting on his album, he abruptly revealed, <strong><em>&#8220;I probably won&#8217;t make music for a little bit.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m gonna be honest — I got some other things I need to do for some other people that I made promises to, but I probably won&#8217;t make music for a little bit.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>He further explained, <strong><em>&#8220;I need to focus on my health first and foremost.&#8221; </em></strong>While Drake didn&#8217;t go into <em>too </em>much detail, he acknowledged that he&#8217;s been having gastrointestinal issues.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach. &#8230; I need to focus on my health, and I need to get right. And I&#8217;m gonna do that.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The rapper added, &#8220;<strong><em>Imma lock the door on the studio for a little bit.&#8221; </em></strong>However, he noted that, while he&#8217;s unsure of the details, he&#8217;s considering stepping back for &#8220;maybe a year or something.&#8221;</p>

He works hard, and deserve to focus on his mental health.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>Nonetheless, others like <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jayintx_/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@jayintx_</a> utilized the opportunity to take a shot at the rapper by stating,<strong><em> &#8220;After that album he probably needs to.&#8221; </em></strong>Oop!</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Drake Dropped <em>For All The Dogs </em>On Oct. 6</h3>
<p>As mentioned, this development comes on the heels of Drake unveiling his latest studio album, <em>For All the Dogs</em>. The 23-song project features big-name features with <strong>21 Savage</strong>, <strong>J. Cole</strong>, <strong>Sexyy Red</strong>, <strong>Chief Keef</strong>, and more — including <strong>SZA</strong>, who was included on the controversy-sparking &#8220;Slime You Out&#8221; track.</p>
