<p>A judge has granted Duane&#8217; <strong>Keefe D&#8217; Davis</strong> bail, but it&#8217;s more than six times what his defense requested. Davis is under arrest in connection to the 1996 <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/suge-knight-tupac-shakur-sister-jada-pinkett-smith-keefe-d/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shooting death</a> of Tupac Shakur.</p>
<p>Last week, Las Vegas prosecutors argued Davis was too dangerous, particularly for witnesses, to be released. They asked the judge to retain him until the beginning of the trial in June. Their request was a response to Duane&#8217;s lawyers filing a motion in favor of house arrest until trial or a bail capped at $100,000.</p>

<p>Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny partially granted his request on Dec. 9 by setting bail. However, the cost to head home will cost Duane Davis $750,000, per <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/maryroeloffs/2024/01/09/tupac-murder-suspect-duane-davis-bail-set-at-750000/amp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Forbes</a>.</p>
<p>Judge Kierny reportedly agreed to bail, given that Duane&#8217;s criminal record has aged along with the 27-year-old Tupac case. Kierny also named the suspect&#8217;s long-time Nevada residency. Duane is reportedly now a married father of four.</p>
<p>No word yet on whether he&#8217;ll be able to make bail.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Details On Duane Davis &; His Tupac Shakur Murder Connection</h3>
<p style="text-align: left;">As previously reported, Duane Davis <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/las-vegas-duane-keffe-d-davis-tupac-shakur/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has been detained</a> at the Clark County Detention Center since September.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Local police picked him up after his admissions of his connection to the murder reignited the investigation. In the 2019 memoir &#8216;Compton Street Legend,&#8217; Duane revealed he was in the Cadillac when they conducted a drive-by on Tupac and Suge Knight.</p>
<p>Duane claimed he was seated in the passenger seat while his nephew Orlando &#8220;Baby Lane&#8221; Anderson was in the back seat with DeAndre &#8220;Dre Smith.&#8221; Terrence &#8220;T-Brown&#8221; Brown was allegedly the driver of the Cadillac. He is now the last living person who was reportedly in the car.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://radaronline.com/p/tupac-murder-raid-duane-keefe-d-davis-killed-rapper-nephew/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Radar Online</a>, Duane has given at least five public confessions to being involved in the death, including providing the weapon used.</p>
<p>In their filing requesting house arrest or bail, his defense claimed that the admissions were only for &#8220;entertainment&#8221; purposes. He <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/update-keefe-d-pleads-not-guilty-in-connection-to-of-tupac-shakur/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pled not guilty</a> in November.</p>
