There is nothing like watching living legends show off their talent, as they introduce their sound to the new generation. It reminds everyone that their music and voices are timeless and will forever be classics no matter what. Recently, El DeBarge, from the legendary musical group DeBarge, took to his Instagram account to perform during an Instagram live video.
Before breaking off into some of his classic hits, he said, “What’s up everybody? All of my beautiful fans out there. So here we are IG Live…it’s been such a long time. I just want to bring you some love, some joy, I hope you’re doing well. Everyone that was sick, love and blessings to you. Let’s stay strong ya’ll.”
While sitting in front of a piano, he then proceeded to kick off his performance with DeBarge’s 1982 hit single “All This Love.”
He then proceeded to perform his group’s 1981 single “What’s Your Name,” “I Like It,” and few other hits. He hinted that he would be back again with another virtual live performance for his fans.
Recently El DeBarge participated in the Soul Train Edition of DJ Cassidy’s “Pass The Mic” segment for the 2020 Soul Train Awards.
