<p>On Saturday, a discussion about getting features from your favorite artist occurred after rapper Baby Tate asked her followers who she should send her record to for a feature for her current single &#8220;Sl*t Him Out.&#8221; One person suggested she send the record to Nicki Minaj, and she said, &#8220;Nicki has still never dmd me back after years of me giving her flowers and love then having one of the most viewed videos on her challenge lol. I highly doubt sending it to her would garner a response atp.&#8221;</p>
<p>She continued to explain how she notices how <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nicki-minaj-says-artists-who-jump-on-every-trendy-sound-become-faceless/">Nicki Minaj</a></em> interacts with other artists, however, no one owes her anything and she said she was entitled to express her emotions.</p>

<p>It seems Erica Banks made a comment on a post about the situation, and that reportedly caused her to get unfollowed by Nicki Minaj. On Sunday, Erica took to Instagram to address the situation, after some people thought she unfollowed Nicki after Baby Tate shared her feelings.</p>
<p>In a video, Erica said, &#8220;Okay, I wanna get on here and address the Nicki Minaj situation because it&#8217;s becoming misunderstood and misconstrued, and people are even thinking I went so far as to unfollow Nicki Minaj, and I need to clear this up, because this is my fav artist, so I have a lot of respect for her – enough to even get on here and clear this up because I don&#8217;t need this narrative being painted of me.&#8221;</p>
<p>As she continued to explain that she didn&#8217;t unfollow Nicki, she added, &#8220;Nicki Minaj blocked me, y&#8217;all. Yesterday, y&#8217;all, blocked me! I&#8217;m talking about I&#8217;m in shambles like, &#8216;What is going on? Why is this happening?&#8217; I&#8217;m serious, I&#8217;m being real with ya&#8217;ll. I&#8217;m having a real moment right now. A real fan moment. I could not believe it, and I meant no harm by what I said.&#8221;</p>
<p>Erica then proceeded to explain the comment she made and said she was coming from a fan&#8217;s point of view. Erica explained, &#8220;All I was saying was, us fans – we&#8217;re still fans, even though we&#8217;re artists – we do get in our feelings, and our feelings do get hurt when we feel like you don&#8217;t wanna work with us. How can you blame us for feeling like that, because this is our favorite artist? It&#8217;s a beautiful thing for us to even get a follow, or a like, or a comment&#8230;&#8221;</p>
