<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you’re waiting on an Erica Banks and Megan Thee Stallion collab, keep waiting because it doesn’t seem like we’re going to get one anytime soon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While Erica maintains the two Texas emcees have no beef, fans couldn’t help but read between the lines in regard to Erica’s recent interview with <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/rise-and-grind-erica-banks-talks-choosing-warner-records-and-turning-down-dababys-billion-dollar-bab-news.130470.html"><em>Hot New Hip Hop.</em></a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fans interpreted her answers as shade when the interviewer asked about her relationship with Megan.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just for some background info, Megan’s rise to stardom began at former MLB star Carl Crawford’s record label, 1501 Entertainment. Meg has since had a tumultuous relationship with her former mentor and has distanced herself from the label amid their <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/carl-crawford-responds-to-megan-thee-stallions-lawsuit-against-his-1501-label-nothing-is-true-that-she-said/">legal troubles</a> while currently being represented by Roc Nation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Megan had a banner year, and it’s only April, after securing three Grammy awards and making history with Beyonce for their song, “Savage (Remix).”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since Megan’s relationship with 1501 went awry, Erica Banks has taken her place as the label’s newest rising star, who saw much success with her song “Buss It.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There was speculation that the two didn’t get along, especially given Erica’s closeness to Carl. Fans believe that Erica has thrown several shots as a 1501 labelmate of Megan’s but Erica denies any beef with Meg.</span></p>
