<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">Roommates, after a whirlwind romance that&#8217;s seen lavish celebrations, social media bickering, and two pregnancies, Erica Mena and Safaree are calling it quits. Erica has reportedly<a href="https://www.tmz.com/2021/05/25/erica-mena-files-to-divorce-safaree/"> filed for divorce</a> from Safaree, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The news comes less than two years after the pair tied the knot in 2019.</p>
<p>The divorce documents were filed last week Friday at the Fayette County Superior Court in Georgia. Erica is reportedly requesting &#8220;primary physical custody&#8221; of their daughter Safire, who is now one year old. However, the &#8220;Love &; Hip Hop&#8221; breakout star has reportedly agreed to share joint legal custody of Safire with Safaree.</p>
<p>In addition to custody, the documents also touched on the couple&#8217;s living and finances. Erica is reportedly seeking to retain &#8220;exclusive use&#8221; of the couple&#8217;s home. As you may remember, we recently reported that <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/erica-mena-alleges-her-home-was-recently-robbed-offers-20k-reward-for-information-on-suspects-involved/">Erica and Safaree&#8217;s home</a> was burglarized. Some of their possessions were stolen, including Safaree&#8217;s custom chain that prominently features a pendant of his daughter&#8217;s face. The couple took to social media to announce the break-in and to offer a $20,000 cash award to anyone offering information that could lead to arrests.</p>

<p>Erica has also reportedly requested child support payments from Safaree. It&#8217;s unclear whether the payments will apply to both Safire and their unborn child. In early May, the couple <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/erica-mena-and-safaree-samuels-revealed-theyre-expecting-baby-3/">announced their second pregnancy</a> together via maternity shoot photos. The images made their viral rounds at the time, given that Erica&#8217;s pregnancy was not publicly known information prior to. In one of her posts, Erica spoke on God, marriage, and family in the caption.</p>
<p>“Marriage- It’s not easy at all,” Erica wrote. “But having a family of your very own makes up for it all. God, I thank you for the protection and all the consistent blessings. I been through way too much to not be as grateful as I truly am.”</p>
