<p>Reality television star <strong>Evelyn Lozada</strong> has revealed that she and entrepreneur <strong>LaVon Lewis</strong> have called off their engagement. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/evelyn-lozada-engaged-lavon-lewis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, news of the couple&#8217;s forthcoming union initially surfaced in March.</p>
<p>At the time, it was revealed that Lozada met Lewis by participating as a bachelorette on Peacock&#8217;s dating series, &#8216;Queens Court.&#8217; The pair had gotten engaged in December 2022 during the show&#8217;s taping.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/basketball-wives-evelyn-lozada-fiance-lavon-lewis-split/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">US Weekly</a>, the 47-year-old reality star shared the news with the outlet on Thursday. Lozada explained that &#8220;things&#8221; with her and Lewis &#8220;went so fast,&#8221; and she felt there was a bit of &#8220;disconnect&#8221; in their relationship.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Things went so fast. Six months later, we were engaged, and I just felt a little bit of a disconnect,&#8221; Lozada told the outlet.</p></blockquote>
<p>Lozada expanded on her feeling of &#8220;disconnect&#8221; with Lewis by explaining that things didn&#8217;t &#8220;feel a hundred percent,&#8221; as they&#8217;re both from &#8220;two different places.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;&#8230; it just doesn’t feel a hundred percent,&#8221; Lozada said. &#8220;[He] and I are from two different places. I’m from the Bronx, New York. He’s from Alabama. So, there was a little disconnect there, too.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Additionally, the 47-year-old also reflected on her and her ex-fiancé&#8217;s long-distance relationship. As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/evelyn-lozada-engaged-lavon-lewis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, in March. Lozada shared that she lives in Los Angeles, California, while Lewis resides in Atlanta, Georgia.</p>

However, it, ultimately, wasn&#8217;t enough.</p>

<p>Furthermore, Lozada shared that she hopes Lewis &#8220;finds an amazing woman&#8221; before adding that she&#8217;ll even &#8220;be at his wedding.&#8221;</p>
