<p><em>The Shade Room</em> has learned that Yaya Mayweather has changed her plea in her assault with a deadly weapon case that occurred in 2020.</p>
<p>According to documents exclusively obtained by <em>The Shade Room</em>, the mother of one appeared in a Houston court on Monday, and has changed her plea <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/exclusive-yaya-mayweather-pleads-guilty-to-aggravated-assault-with-a-deadly-weapon/">from guilty</a> to NOLO CONTENDERE (no contest). This plea allows defendants to accept the criminal punishment but not admit guilt.</p>

<p>According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, she is due to be back in court in December and six years of probation has been recommended.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Yaya &; The Stabbing Incident</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: left;">The 21-year-old pleaded guilty back in April for stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, ex-girlfriend to rapper NBA Young Boy, <em>TSR</em> exclusively learned.</p>
<p>In April 2020, Jacobs was at NBA Youngboy’s home when the daughter of the famous boxer appeared. The women began to exchange words when Yaya grabbed two knives and <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/yaya-mayweather-arrested-for-allegedly-stabbing-another-woman-over-nba-youngboy/">stabbed Jacobs</a>. On Wednesday, Yaya pleaded guilty to the crime.</p>
<p>Since the incident, Yaya hasn’t stopped championing NBA YoungBoy, the father of her one-year-old son, Kentrell Jr. Witnesses have seen Yaya in clubs rapping endlessly to his songs, posting cryptic messages on Instagram, all while he is in a relationship with Jazlyn Mychelle and the couple now has two kids.</p>

<p>While COVID prolonged the case, Jacobs spoke about her relationship with NBA YoungBoy back in 2020.</p>
<p>During an <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/yaya-mayweathers-alleged-stabbing-victim-says-shed-still-be-dealing-with-nba-youngboy-if-she-hadnt-been-attacked-video/">IG live</a>, she insinuated that NBA YoungBoy doesn’t take his relationships too seriously because of his younger age.</p>

<p>Jacobs also discussed her past relationship with YB. Allegedly, it ultimately ended due to her alleged fight with Yaya Mayweather.</p>
