<p>On Thursday, the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals denied Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekial Elliot’s appeal.</p>
<p>According to the <em><a href="http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2743374-ezekiel-elliott-emergency-injunction-denied-begins-6-game-suspension">Bleacher Report</a></em>, this means the running back will have to immediately start serving his 6-game suspension, while his case against the NFL continues.</p>
<p>The league suspended Elliot for “violating its personal conduct policy after he was accused of committing domestic violence in July 2016.” Although he was never arrested, the league said they found evidence in their investigation to support their decision.</p>
<p>Elliot was appealing Southern District Judge Katherine Failla&#8217;s denial of his injunction, which meant he would have been forced to start serving his suspension starting last week. However, he was granted an administrative stay by the Second Circuit, which allowed him to play last week.</p>
<p>His injunction was originally granted before Judge Failla overturned it.</p>
<p><em><a href="http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21354070/dallas-cowboys-rb-ezekiel-elliott-suspended-upheld-again-court-denies-motion">ESPN</a></em> reports, without another successful appeal Elliot will be out until December 24<sup>th</sup>. In the meantime, he will miss games against the Falcons, Eagles, Chargers, and Redskins.</p>
<p>His next hearing is set for December 1<sup>st</sup>.</p>
