We all know that in the world of Hollywood things are not always what they seem. Fans have now been given a new example of this—and it involves Justin Bieber. He was recently spotted filming the popular viral series “Carpool Karaoke” and it was seemingly revealed that cars are not actually driven on the show at all.
Late night talk show host James Corden created one of the most popular online series’ courtesy of “Carpool Karaoke,” which puts him and A-list celebrities in a car together while they drive around and sing. However, new footage with Justin Bieber has revealed that the cars used for the series are not driven, but instead pulled along by a truck.
The video footage quickly spread like wildfire online, with many fans commenting how they feel completely deceived that a major component of the show doesn’t really happen at all. Seeing all of the social media reaction, reps for Corden’s “The Late Late Show” released a statement.
The statement read:
“The truck was for stunts only, James Corden actually does drive for most of his ride-shares with famous musicians. The truck is only used on the rare occasion when there is a stunt component and the producers feel it is unsafe to drive.”
This upcoming episode with Justin Bieber will mark his second time on the show, as he initially appeared back in 2015. There is currently no word on when Justin’s episode will air.
