<p>The 38-year-old R&;B star recently shared the decision via an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/CrHbn3yvGM5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram video</a>.</p>
<p>Within her caption, Barrino acknowledged that she was &#8220;officially enrolled&#8221; in the institution and expressed her appreciation for everyone who supported her educational pursuits.</p>

<p>She gave a special shoutout to a couple of her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClkZKpWu2sw/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sigma Gamma Rho</a> sorors for &#8220;connecting [her] with the amazing staff at Central State.&#8221;</p>
<p>Notably, Barrino finished her caption by suggesting she might pop in for the university&#8217;s Homecoming festivities!</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Singer Went Back To School To &#8216;Break Generational Curses&#8217; &; Better Her Craft</h3>

Aside from sharing that she had the support of her Sigma Gamma Rho sorority sisters, she didn&#8217;t divulge many details on the matter.</p>

<p>Now, however, Fantasia has let fans in on where she&#8217;ll be attending, and she seems to be psyched to embark on this journey!</p>
<p>We should add that Barrino-Taylor spoke on the decision to return to school with <em><a href="https://people.com/music/fantasia-barrino-celebrity-prank-wars-clip-talks-return-to-school/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>. </em> She noted that she wanted to &#8220;break generational curses&#8221; and be a positive example for her children.</p>
