<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The rapper expressed it was OK to speak his truth for the documentary but to do interviews about her is out of line. </span></p>

<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">He also said that Ashanti never disrespected him, and his need to continue to disrespect her makes him less credible. </span></p>

<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">N.O.R.E. followed up and said, &#8220;Country Grammar,&#8221; which is Nelly&#8217;s 2000 hit single off of his debut album, which is also titled the same.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">The producer continued to explain how he found out about Ashanti and Nelly&#8217;s relationship. The 52-year-old explained that he was at home, and as he turned on his TV to watch an NBA program, he looked and saw Nelly and Ashanti walk in together after hearing some commotion on the screen.</span></p>
<p>As you know, the two dated for nearly a decade before calling it quits.</p>
