The mass shooter himself, Omar Mateen’s 911 call to police has finally been released.
According TMZ, a transcript of the call is now out. Mateen made a phone call to police at Pulse nightclub at 2:35 a.m.,ET, making all sorts of threats and even told officials to stop the U.S. from bombing Iraq and Syria.
He considered himself an “Islamic Soldier” to three police officers, and that “in the name of God the merciful” was his explanation to kill innocent people.
Mateen spoke mostly in Arabic saying: “Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.”
Mateen warned police that there were bombs inside a vehicle right outside of the club. He said, “You people are gonna get it, and I’m gonna ignite it if they try to do anything stupid.”
The FBI and other government officials will not put this to rest, as there maybe more incidents like Orlando coming our way. Mateen threatened there would “more of this type of action going on” in coming days.
