<p>Roommates, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/fetty-wap-and-masika-kalysha-celebrate-their-daughter-kharis-5th-birthday/">Fetty Wap</a> may not be topping the charts like he used to, but that doesn’t mean that he’s not going to let everyone know about his past musical accomplishments…at least according to him. Taking to Instagram, Fetty Wap posted a few detailed posts to his IG stories proclaiming that he is the person solely responsible for putting SoundCloud on the map.</p>
<p>As recent <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/fetty-wap-says-trap-queen-launched-soundcloud-rap">online debate</a> discussed who belongs on the Mount Rushmore for the SoundCloud era, many rappers were the topic of intense debate—however Fetty Wap made it clear that you can’t even bring up that list without putting him on it.</p>
<p>Fetty wrote the following about his “GOAT” status on Instagram:</p>
<p><em>“Soundcloud day was lit, 2015 I think I kick this s**t off fr,” he wrote. I’m really the Soundcloud goat .. y’all n***as trippin … maybe y’all forgot… ‘Trap Queen’ the reason n***as started a Soundcloud.”</em></p>

<p>“Trap Queen” was a huge hit for Fetty Wap, the likes of which he has yet to duplicate since, but many fans flooded the Internet and quickly disputed his claim that SoundCloud wasn’t hot until he shared his music on the indie music platform.</p>
<p>In other Fetty news, it appears that he and Masika Kalysha have finally been able to maintain a cordial co-parenting relationship, despite having extreme issues with each other in the past. The two recently celebrated their daughter’s 5<sup>th</sup> birthday.</p>
