Former NBA star and current member of the Israeli Premier League, Amare Stoudemire, has caused quite the commotion with his response to a question about having a gay teammate in the locker room.
Stoudemire, told Walla Sport: Im going to shower across the street. Im going to make sure my change of clothes are around the corner, and Im going to take a different route to the gym.
He was asked if he was joking, and he said, I mean, theres always a truth within a joke.
Other members of his team said they wouldn’t have an issue with having a gay teammate in the locker room.
