Former Spice Girls Member Mel B Recently Served Three Lawsuits While At A Los Angeles Hotel

Former Spice Girls member Mel B got an unexpected surprise that she definitely wasn’t here for. While at a local Los Angeles hotel, she was served with not one, not two, but three lawsuits—and the entire situation was filmed and posted on social media.

Reportedly, one of the lawsuits is from Mel B’s ex-bestie Gary Madatyan, who claims he was “used and abused” by her. He previously accused her of refusing to return $200,000 of money she took from him and not paying him properly during two years of employment with her.

Madatyan filed a lawsuit against Mel B in September 2019 and alleged her personal doctor wanted him to “lie” to Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services about how Mel B’s ex-husband Stephan Belafonte treats the former couple’s children. Another one of the lawsuits is reportedly from her former attorneys. It’s not clear at this time what the third lawsuit is about.

Mel B is currently in the middle of a very nasty and ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, who she divorced back in 2018. Earlier this month, a judge refused to allow Mel B to take her daughter Madison to England for Christmas, after hearing claims that the eight-year-old was “traumatized” by her mother the last time she was with her in the U.K.

After the ruling, Belafonte was very happy with the judge’s decision, he said “I’m very happy that Madison will spend Christmas with me here in Los Angeles. It’ll be special – but then, every day is special with my daughter.”
