Congratulations are in order to Bad Boy, French Montana as he is the newest addition to the Epic records family! He literally just signed the papers today as you can see him with Diddy and LA Reid in the background.
This partnership was a no-brainer for al parties involved considering just how much French respects LA Reid’s genuine love for music. “He’s one of the good ones,” he told Billboard. “I love how he’s so attached to the music. A lot of chairmans out there, a lot of entrepreneurs can’t do what he do. When I met up with him, I played him the music. He just told me the right place for me to go is over where he’s at. He’s gonna give me a million percent support.”
As most of you all know, Reid is responsible for almost all of Mariah Carey’s #1’s, Bobby Brown, TLC, Usher, Outkast, Boyz II Men– the list really goes on and on. He’s a musical genius and if I was French Montana I’d sign to Epic too!
French plans to release his sophomore album Mac & Cheese with the label later this year, so stay tuned for that guys!
