<p>Could a wedding be in the cards for <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/futures-ex-brittni-mealy-sues-to-increase-3000-child-support/">Future</a>?</p>
<p>According to some comments made during a recent sit-down with <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/features/future-2022-interview-cover-story-1235171775/amp/"><em>Billboard</em></a>, it sounds like the rapper could be looking to settle down, as he referred to the prospect of marriage as &#8220;one of [his] dreams.&#8221;</p>
<h5 style="text-align: center;">Future Admits He &#8216;Would Love&#8217; To Tie The Knot With Someone Special</h5>
<p>During the interview, Future—who&#8217;s fathered at least 7 children with just as many women— was asked to reflect on what he believes life would be like if he were married.</p>
<p>In response, he poignantly revealed that he hopes to eventually call someone his wife.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;If I was married, at home with my kids, man, it&#8217;d be way different. That&#8217;s a life I never lived. It&#8217;s something you dream about. That&#8217;s one of my dreams. It&#8217;s easy for other people, but for me, it&#8217;s just like, man, this rock star lifestyle, it don&#8217;t gel well.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>While his status as a big-name rap star can get in the way of attaining this &#8220;dream,&#8221; Future was sure to share that he isn&#8217;t trippin&#8217; on the matter. In fact, he&#8217;s confident that it&#8217;ll happen in due time and isn&#8217;t &#8220;chasing it.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;When the time&#8217;s right, it&#8217;ll happen. It ain&#8217;t nothing that I&#8217;m really chasing. But I do dream of it, and I do want it. I swear I&#8217;d probably pick the wrong girl or something, if I was just chasing it&#8230;But I understand that it&#8217;s something I would love, and when the time presents itself, then I know I&#8217;m going to be prepared. I want to make sure I just live that to the fullest. But I don&#8217;t really think about that s**t, like having a wife and s**t. But I want a wife. Everybody around me wants me to have a wife more than I want a wife.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<h5 style="text-align: center;">A New Era For The &#8220;Toxic King&#8221;?</h5>
<p>While there are plenty of people who&#8217;d love to settle down, this proclamation coming from Future is pretty eyebrow-raising.</p>
<p>From Twitter memes to his &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rP09GUQFDFk&;t=12s">WAIT FOR U</a>&#8221; music video and <a href="https://thesource.com/2021/05/29/future-disses-lori-harvey-steve-harvey-and-michael-b-jordan-on-leaked-maybach-verse/">Lori Harvey diss</a>, both fans and Future himself have embraced his &#8220;<a href="https://www.levelman.com/how-future-became-internet-favorite-toxic-meme/">toxic</a>&#8221; image.</p>

<p>In spite of this, though, it sounds like Future is looking to turn over a new leaf!</p>
<h5 style="text-align: center;">If He Weds, Future Would Want More Kids</h5>
<p>This isn&#8217;t the first time the &#8220;I&#8217;M ON ONE&#8221; rapper has spoken on the subject of settling down.</p>
<p>Last year, Future linked with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chYfk2BhZfI"><em>GQ</em></a> to field questions from fellow celebrities. Participants included Julia Fox, who asked Future if he would be open to having even more children.</p>
<p>In turn, Future replied with the affirmative and explained that he believes the experience would be &#8220;more special.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Yes—by my wife, if I ever get married, you know what I’m saying? I wanna have kids by my wife, of course. It could be like 3 cause I’ve never had more than one kid by a girl.</p>
<p><strong>So if I had 2 by her, then it’s like more than I had. So I feel like it’ll be more special.&#8221;</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>This proclamation didn&#8217;t go over too well on Twitter.</p>

<p>In a later <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/future-may-cover-profile"><em>GQ</em></a> interview, Future also addressed the aforementioned notion about being toxic, though he didn&#8217;t appear to be too concerned with brushing off this reputation.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;People associate me with being toxic&#8230;People have their own definition of what toxic is,&#8221; he told GQ. &#8220;[Women] were toxic to me. They just don&#8217;t want to admit it.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Do you believe that Future will eventually make his way down the aisle and get married?</p>
