TSR Exclusive: Whew! If Eliza Reign is going to get that child support check from Future, he sure as heck is going to make her work for it.As their child support battle continues, we can exclusively report Elizas attorney has filed a motion to have Future held in contempt of court for allegedly providing fraudulent info about his finances.
Future is being accused of trying to downplay his lavish lifestyle in court to minimize the amount of child support hell have to pay Eliza for their 1-year-old daughter. According to court docs, Future testified in court that he stays in a two bedroom, two bathroom home in Atlanta and isnt sure if he rents or owns the property as he said he lets his business manager handle all my business.
On top of Future claiming he doesnt know how much the home is worth, Elizas attorney did some digging and says he found out that Future actually lives in a 5-bedroom, 7 bathroom mansion sitting on 1.69 acres of property.
According to the docs, Elizas attorney found through independent investigation that the home was purchased in December 2016 for $2.3 million by Treon Investments LLC. Elizas attorney found that Treon Investments is a corporation out of Georgia whose CEO just happens to be Futures sister, Tiwanna Wilburn, and whose CFO is Futures mother, Stephanie Jester.
And the contact person on the lease for the property manager? Well, that just happens to be Futures assistant, Felicia Magama, according to Elizas attorney.
But on top of Future allegedly lying about where he lives, Elizas attorney Brandon Rotbart alleges that Future provided a falsified lease document to the court, which Rotbart feels is grounds to hold him in contempt.
In other instances in which Future has testified, the docs show Future has claimed to own no jewelry and that hes not making any money off of his music during the pandemic while also claiming he doesnt know the status of his contracts.
Here are a few excerpts from one of Futures recent testimonies:
Rotbart: Okay. In the last three months, have you done anything to make any money because your lawyer said you didnt do concerts? Did you do anything else?
Future: No.
Rotbart: So you havent released any music in the last three months?
Future: You said anything to make money. That dont mean I make money. That was an obligation that was already on the map.
Rotbart: Did you release any music in the last three months?
Future: I release music every day.
Rotbart: And do you make money from these music releases?
Future: No.
Rotbart: How do you make money if you dont make money from the music releases?
Futures Attorney: Im going to object. He already testified–
Judge: Overruled.
Rotbart: So you have the contracts that pay you?
Future: No. I have contracts that I already signed certain things over to that I dont get paid every time my music gets played.
Rotbart: And who are those contracts with?
Future: I dont know.
Judge: Hold on. Sir, are you trying to tell me you dont know who your contracts are with for your music?
Future: At this time certain deals could be up, certain deals could be continuation.
Judge: Well, then give us the names of the people that you have them with.
Future: Epic.
Rotbart: Epic. Anyone else?
Future: Thats it.
Rotbart: Okay. And how much does this contract with Epic pay you?
Future: Im not sure.
Rotbart: Do you have any idea? Can you estimate?
Future: I dont know.
If Future is found to be in contempt of court, Elizas team is asking for $53,000 in monthly child support in addition to attorneys fees as well as a letter of apology and a substantial charitable donation to a deserving charity of the Courts choosing.
