<p>New details have been revealed regarding G Herbo&#8217;s recent arrest in Chicago. <p>According to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/07/17/g-herbo-glock-33-signal-failure-chicago-police/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a>, G Herbo&#8217;s recent gun possession arrest was reportedly prompted by a traffic infraction.&#8221; Chicago authorities informed the outlet that on July 9, the rapper was pulled over after his vehicle &#8220;failed to display a turn signal in traffic.&#8221;</p>
<p>During the traffic stop, authorities located a &#8220;Glock 33&#8221; in his vehicle.</p>
<p>Additionally, the outlet even obtained a photo of the rapper&#8217;s mugshot.</p>

In that case, the rapper and other defendants are accused of &#8220;using stolen credit cards and identifications&#8221; to fund a lavish lifestyle.</p>
<p>Additionally, G Herbo is accused of lying to federal agents about his relationship with an alleged co-conspirator and providing false statements to the Bureau of Investigation.</p>
<p>In 2021, the rapper reportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges. However, in June, <a href="https://hiphopdx.com/news/g-herbo-fraud-plea-deal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HipHopDX</a> reported that the rapper requested a meeting with federal agents to &#8220;discuss a potential plea deal&#8221; in the case.</p>
<p>In this case, the outlet reports that G Herbo has been charged with &#8220;one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.&#8221; And &#8220;two counts of aiding and abetting aggravated identity theft.&#8221;</p>

<p>Before this, the rapper was arrested for simple battery in 2019 and reportedly possessing an illegal handgun in 2018.</p>
