Rumors spread that Tyler Perry and Oprah, long time friends, were feuding and not speaking, but Oprahs best friend Gayle King just put a stop the the lies!
News broke that Tyler and Oprah were not speaking after a long period of Tyler Perry being hard to work with and more reports said that his shows on OWN were being unfavorably criticized which caused the split. It turns out that all the reports were false and Gayle just confirmed it.
She took to Instagram to say that if Tyler and Oprah were not speaking it must have just happened 10 min ago! The picture of the article she posted said that the two moguls relationship had been strained because of suggestions to Tylers shows. Lies!
To confirm that he and Oprah were on good terms, Tyler posted a Facebook status with a picture of him and Oprah when she came to celebrate him having 800 episodes of television shows to air. He also reposted Gayles post to confirm that what she was saying was true.
We are happy to see that some rumors cant get two of Black Americas most successful friends down. According to E Online, all of Tyler Perrys shows are still in contract to release on OWN.
