<p><strong>Gervonta &#8216;Tank&#8217; Davis</strong> has been jailed after reportedly violating the terms of <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/gervonta-davis-domestic-battery/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">his house arrest</a> for a 2020 hit-and-run crash that injured four people&#8211; including a pregnant woman.</p>
<p><em>Fox Baltimore</em> <a href="https://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/gervonta-davis-in-jail-for-reportedly-violating-home-detention-terms-from-2020-crash-gervonta-tank-davis-hit-and-run-pregnant-woman-injured" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reports</a> that the boxing champion will serve 90 days behind bars.</p>

The exact details of this violation of his three-month house arrest sentence were not immediately revealed.</section>
<p>However, we know Davis struck a plea deal with prosecutors in the case a few weeks ago, which was supposed to keep him out of jail.</p>

<p>The home detention sentence is connected to a crash on Nov. 5, 2020. Davis was reportedly driving his Lamborghini when he ran a red light and hit another vehicle, according to the police report.</p>
<p>The report noted that the boxing champion and his passenger then fled the scene on foot. Surveillance footage and the victims in the other car later named Davis as the driver.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">News Comes Just Over A Week After Prosecutors Dropped Domestic Battery Charges</h3>

<p><strong>Vanessa Posso</strong>, one of the mothers of Davis&#8217; kids, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/05/22/gervonta-davis-domestic-violence-case-dropped/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">declined to press charges</a> against him. According to the outlet, officials formally dismissed the case on Monday (May 22).</p>
<p>Davis had maintained his innocence from the beginning, instead pointing fingers at Vanessa.</p>

<p>In February 2020, Davis <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/06/us/gervonta-davis-charged-trnd/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was arrested</a> on charges of simple battery/domestic violence, allegedly against his former girlfriend, Dretta Smothers, <em>CNN</em> reported at the time. The altercation happened during Super Bowl festivities at a charity basketball game, where Gervonta ran into Dretta.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, &#8216;Tank&#8217; has kept up his winning ways inside the ring. He extended his undefeated record to 29-0 after a knockout victory over Ryan Garcia in April. Davis has also held multiple world championships in three weight classes between 2017 and now.</p>
