<p><strong>Gillie Da Kid&#8217;s</strong> eldest son <strong>YNG Cheese</strong> has reportedly been shot and killed following a triple shooting in Philadelphia Thursday night, a source close to the situation confirmed to <a href="https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/1-dead-2-injured-after-triple-shooting-in-philadelphia/3608876/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>NBC10</strong></a>.</p>
<p>The outlet reports that a 25-year-old man, later identified as Gillie&#8217;s son, was shot in the back around 8:30 p.m. in the Olney neighborhood.</p>

<p>Police then drove him to nearby Einstein Medical Center, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/news/shooting-kills-yng-cheese-son-of-local-rapper-gillie-da-king-in-philadelphia/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>CBS News</strong></a> reports. However, he was pronounced dead at 8:39 p.m.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were also shot in the incident, where ten spent shell casings were located at the scene, per NBC10. However, no weapons were recovered.</p>
<p>Those two victims were transported to the same hospital. Both were listed in stable condition as of Friday (Jul. 21).</p>

<p>Cheese&#8217;s father, Gillie Da Kid, is well-known in the city&#8217;s rap scene. Gillie, real name Nasir Fard, hosts the popular hip-hop podcast &#8220;Million Dollaz Worth of Game&#8221; alongside his cousin <strong>Wallo267.</strong></p>
<p>Gillie himself has yet to speak on his son&#8217;s reported death publicly. According to the Bowery Presents, he&#8217;s scheduled to host Gillie Fest next Saturday night (Jul. 29) at Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia.</p>
<p>The event is a concert and comedy show honoring Gillie&#8217;s birthday.</p>
