It looks like Kanye’s classic facial expressions are not something Goodwill is too fond of thats because recently the Illinois division of the charitable organization told their employees that they will not tolerate the “Resting Kanye Face”..OOP!
In a recent newsletter to employees they instructed them not to not use Kanye’s popular lackluster facial expression when interacting with customers. However, employees who are also fans of Ye’ were not here for it and brought the heat.
Since then Goodwill has apologized for using Kanye as the poster child to get their point across. According to TMZ, a rep says they were just using the rappers expression to be more relatable all while expressing their point on facial expressions within the work place.
The rep said, “We’d like to apologize to Kanye West, his fans and the community for the use of his image to illustrate an internal training message. It was unacceptable and Goodwill takes full responsibility for this action and meant no disrespect to Kanye.”
If anything can be learned from this, just leave Ye’ out of the work place if it’s not positive.
