<p>The <strong>2023 GRAMMYs</strong> are less than three months away, and the Recording Academy is preparing fans for what&#8217;s to come! The full list of nominations is out, with <strong>Beyoncé </strong>and<strong> Kendrick Lamar </strong>leading the pack and first-time <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/beyonce-drake-nicki-minaj-future-more-among-the-nominees-for-the-2022-american-music-awards/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">nominations for a few</a>, including <strong>GloRilla. </strong></p>
<p>According to the Recording Academy, about half of this year&#8217;s nominees are women, and more than half are people of color. CEO Harvey Mason Jr. says the list makes him <em>&#8220;feel very proud&#8221;</em> but conscious of maintaining <em>&#8220;the work&#8221;</em> they have done.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;This year, I&#8217;m pleased with the result and work the voters did,&#8221; CEO Mason Jr. said, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/2023-grammy-nominations/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">per </a><em>CBS.</em> &#8220;We have almost 13,000 voters now. It&#8217;s really important work. I&#8217;m pleased to think they spent the time listening to the music and evaluating. I think you see by the type of nominations that they are not only going for just popular music or music that has a lot of streams. It&#8217;s just music of high quality.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
