<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/listen-quavo-grieves-nephew-takeoff-in-new-song-ion-kno-if-im-the-same-without-you/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Quavo</strong></a> poured his soul into a Grammys dedication to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/suspect-in-takeoffs-passing-patrick-clark-reportedly-released-from-jail-after-posting-1-million-bond/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Takeoff</strong></a> and more lives lost in the music industry in 2022.</p>
<p>The 31-year-old musician performed a tribute to his nephew and late band member from The Migos, Takeoff, at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony.</p>
<p>The rapper performed a version of his tribute song &#8220;Without You,&#8221; which reflects on the loss of his former collaborator. He was accompanied by the Maverick City Music choir which helped him sing out emotionally;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Quavo Holds Up Takeoff&#8217;s Chain On Stage At Grammys</h3>
<p>The song was released on January 5, with a music video showing Quavo smoking a joint while listening to the track. Quavo expresses his grief over Takeoff&#8217;s death in the song and longs for a time machine to have him back.</p>
<p>During the tribute, Quavo held up Takeoff&#8217;s chain in the foreground.</p>

<p>He also references their brief collaboration with the line &#8220;Unc and Phew until infinity.&#8221;</p>

<p>Takeoff was <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/rapper-takeoff-reportedly-shot-and-killed-during-a-dice-game-in-houston/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tragically killed</a> on November 1, 2022, at the age of 28, at a Houston venue named 810 Billiards &; Bowling. He was with Quavo at the time of the incident, which involved a altercation that resulted in shots being fired.</p>
<p>Takeoff suffered gunshot wounds to his head, torso, and arm, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:30 a.m.</p>
