Back in May of this year, we reported on singer James DeBarge finally breaking his silence on the alleged secret baby rumors with pop icon Janet Jackson. He had confronted the rumor and ultimately admitted that there was indeed a baby.
Well, in a new episode of WE TV’s Growing Up Hip Hop, James’ daughter Kristina confronts him about an article she read about the secret baby and once again he confirmed news.
“I’m tired of the secrecy,” he began. “I’m tired of the truth not coming forward, and people being a coward when it comes to it. And I thought it was wise for me to speak out now because it needs to be addressed.”
James DeBarge claims to have not been in the loop about a baby. “I was under the impression that there was no baby, and I wanted to believe it’s not true. But it is,” he says. Check out the clip for yourselves!
The pair married back in 1984 but the marriage was annulled the following year. Currently, Janet Jackson is awaiting the arrival of what she claims to be her first baby with her husband, Wissam Al Man! There is already much mystery with her pregnancy as she’s been spotted only twice since being pregnant, so who knows! She very well could have hidden a pregnancy before this social media age!
