Remember when we reported that Gucci Mane might be being released from prison this year, well it turns out he won’t be.
About two weeks ago the 1017_Records page posted that he was getting out in March 2016 on Instagram and got the buzz going for trap legend. Just a week later they came back saying that he would not be released in 2016 saying Free Gucci and F*** 12.
Jayson Rodriguez of Revolt TV confirmed that Gucci’s release date is still set for 2017. We don’t know if him getting out earlier was just a rumor or if something happened to push it back. We’ll be waiting until 2017 to see when he’ll be released and keep our ears open for more projects that he might release from prison.
