<p>Over the weekend, <strong>Gunplay</strong> — a 44-year-old rapper who starred on <em>Love &; Hip Hop: Miami</em> — was taken into custody and charged with false imprisonment, child abuse, and assault with a deadly weapon.</p>
<p>In the aftermath of the situation, his wife, <strong>Vonshae Taylor</strong>, is speaking out and confirming that she&#8217;s calling it quits.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Gunplay Is Accused Of Brandishing A Weapon During An Xbox-Related Incident</h3>
<p>According to Fox Sports personality <a href="https://twitter.com/AndySlater/status/1693332833127870620?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Andy Slater</strong></a>, the situation was allegedly sparked after Gunplay&#8217;s partner &#8220;told him to quiet down while playing Xbox.&#8221;</p>
<p>In turn, the rapper is <strong><em>&#8220;accused of pointing a rifle at his wife while she was holding their 6-month-old baby.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>Despite the jarring accusations against him, Gunplay allegedly &#8220;denies it all.&#8221;</p>
<p>The domestic violence-related charges against Gunplay were confirmed through arrest records. He was taken into custody in the early hours of Sunday (Aug. 20), and his bond was set at $20,000.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Vonshae Taylor Provides More Details Through Social Media</h3>
<p>Shortly after the news broke, Vonshae acknowledged the matter in an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CwLibteR-kB/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram post</a>.</p>
<p>The upload consisted of a screenshotted message from her Notes app, and she confirmed that she and her daughter are &#8220;safe.&#8221;</p>
<p>Vonshae also attributed the overall issue to Gunplay allegedly &#8220;using again,&#8221; and she specified that he &#8220;developed a very bad drinking problem.&#8221;</p>
<p>While she acknowledged trying &#8220;everything&#8221; to help Gunplay, Vonshae declared, <strong><em>&#8220;At this point, I really believe it&#8217;s too late.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>She went on to confirm that the ordeal unfolded after she requested that Gunplay &#8220;quiet down&#8221; while playing <em>Call of Duty</em>. Although Vonshae said she wanted to take their baby to another room, Gunplay objected, and &#8220;things went left fast.&#8221;</p>
<p>As a result, she called the authorities. Vonshae also secured a restraining order and is &#8220;filing for divorce.&#8221;</p>
