<p>Restauranteur and Emmy award-winning television host <strong>Guy Fieri</strong> is getting candid about his business fortune and what his children must accomplish to inherit it. According to <a href="https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/guy-fieri-100-million-food-network-deal-1235810817/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Variety</a>, Fieri reportedly signed a $100 million multiyear deal with the Food Network last month.</p>

<p>On December 12, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6342922469112" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News</a> published a video clip of an exclusive sitdown with Fieri. During the conversation, the 55-year-old explained that he&#8217;s instilling a pivotal lesson he learned from his dad in his children.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I’ve told them the same thing my dad told me. My dad says, &#8216;When I die, you can expect that I’m going to die broke, and you’re going to be paying for the funeral.&#8217; And I told my boys, &#8216;None of this that I’ve been building are you going to get unless you come and take it from me,'&#8221; Fieri explained to the outlet.</p></blockquote>
<p>Additionally, the 55-year-old explained that he&#8217;s also taking a precedent from former NBA player Shaquille O&#8217;Neal.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://fox59.com/news/national-world/guy-fieris-sons-wont-inherit-his-empire-unless-they-achieve-2-things/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox 59</a>, Fieri&#8217;s eldest son, Hunter, and his nephew are on their way to securing two degrees. Hunter is reportedly enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Miami, while Fieri&#8217;s nephew is a law student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.</p>
<p>Fieri explained that his youngest son, Ryder, is about to embark on the &#8220;unfair&#8221; quest to secure his first of two degrees.</p>
