<p>On Monday, the 23-year-old songstress shared a social media upload. In the post, she announced that she had been invited to the White House to read <em>The Little Mermaid: Make a Splash</em> to children.</p>
<p>For context, the book is described as a &#8220;<a href="https://www.amazon.com/Little-Mermaid-Make-Splash/dp/1368077269" target="_blank" rel="noopener">retelling</a>&#8221; of the live-action <em>The Little Mermaid </em>film. A live-action remake premieres in late May and features Bailey in the leading role.</p>

<p>She added, &#8220;This was my first time ever seeing this book in person and watching the kids&#8217; reaction to the story was my favorite part of it all.&#8221;</p>
<p>Alongside some stunning selfies, her upload featured her posing with the children for a big ol&#8217; group photo. Additionally, a screengrab showed Bailey reading the book to listeners while showing off the illustrations. Love to see it!</p>

<p>Notably, ahead of the Easter Egg Roll, President Joe Biden dished on the prospect of running for reelection, according to <a href="https://apnews.com/article/biden-jill-white-house-easter-egg-roll-61698151f30852f0830e155bf43f9c13/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AP News</a>.</p>
<p>Biden initially declared that he plans to partake in &#8220;at least three or four more Easter Egg Rolls, maybe five.&#8221; He told Al Roker, &#8220;I&#8217;m planning on running, Al, but we’re not prepared to announce it yet.&#8221;</p>
