On Tuesday, some of our favorite celebrities came together for the “Hand In Hand” telethon to help raise money for the victims of the recent hurricanes.

Celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, Kerry Washington, Stevie Wonder, Diddy and many others used their voices to help raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

According to ABC News, the relief benefit was able to raise more than $44 million.

During the telethon, which aired on all major networks, it was announced that Apple will be donating $5 million and Albertsons Cos. and Merck each gave $1 million.

NBA star Chris Paul also announced that the NBA Players Association would match any professional basketball player’s donation up to $20,000.

The “Hand In Hand” telethon, which was organized by Bun B and Scooter Braun, was originally for the victims of Hurricane Harvey but was later expanded after Hurricane Irma hit.

According to reports, at least 70 people that have passed away due to Hurricane Harvey and 22 deaths have been reported in the U.S. from Hurricane Irma. It has been reported that both storms caused an estimated amount of $150 billion and $290 billion in damages.
