<p>Social media users are mourning <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/isley-brothers-rudolph-isley-passes-away/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the passing</a> of <strong>Anna &#8220;Chickadee&#8221; Cardwell</strong>. The 29-year-old was the eldest daughter of <strong>Mama June Shannon</strong> and sister of &#8216;Here Comes Honey Boo Boo&#8217; star <strong>Alana Thompson</strong>.</p>

<p>Mama June Shannon took to Instagram on Sunday, December 10, to share a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C0ruOYMuTVD/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">photo</a> of her alongside her four daughters and two men. In the post&#8217;s caption, Shannon announced that Cardwell passed away in her home the night before.</p>
<p>To note, Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, an advanced cancer that indicates a tumor has spread to other parts of the body, in January, per <a href="https://people.com/anna-chickadee-cardwell-dead-at-29-8413924" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>.</p>

<p>The mother of four explained that Cardwell &#8220;gave one hell of a fight for 10 months.&#8221; Additionally, she explained that her daughter passed away with her &#8220;family around her.&#8221;</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://people.com/anna-chickadee-cardwell-dead-at-29-8413924" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>, after Cardwell learned her cancer had spread to her liver, kidney, and lung, she underwent her first round of chemotherapy in March.</p>
<p>In May, Chickadee took to social media to share that she was in her third round of chemotherapy, and things were &#8220;looking good.&#8221;</p>
