As we all know, Kobe Bryant hung up his jersey last night after a very impressive win over the Utah Jazz. There’s no doubt that Kobe is one of the greatest to ever call himself a basketball player and he’ll definitely be missed on the court! If only we you had something to remember him by… Like these really expensive, 8 of a kind custom New Era caps.
On the most recent episode of 2Chainz Most Expensivest Sh*t, the rapper sat down with Emma over at New Era to discuss these custom made caps that they’ve designed for the end of the Kobe Era. The first one is made of lamb skin, complete with #24, and is embossed with the Lakers logo in 18 karat gold. The top of the brim is made of Python and gold snakeskin (reminiscent of “Black Mamba”) under the brim. It’s all yours for a smooth $38,000!
Now, if that one isn’t quite in your budget, New Era has another design made of purple Italian cashmere with the classic Lakers logo on the front. Bryant and the #24 are settled on the side of the hat with 5 yellow diamonds on top of it to represent his five championships. Oh yeah, this one’s $24k!
New Era only made 8 of each of these hats, so if you’re as big of a Kobe fan as you say you are, that shouldn’t be too big of a problem, should it?
