<p>#Roommates, people have been taking notice of the treatment of NFL quarterback #ColinKaepernick and they are fed up! With football season right around the corner, fans can not believe Colin is still a free agent. </p>
<p>The word on the street is Colin is being blacklisted in the NFL due to his silent protest last year where he took a knee during the National Anthem in protest of racial oppression and police brutality, sparking outrage in the NFL. </p>
<p>Since then, Colin hasn’t seen very much playing time and has had trouble staying on a NFL team. His situation has gotten so much attention that celebrities like Spike Lee are shedding light about the protest and reports even suggested he coordinated the event. Though he denies organizing the rally, Spike took to twitter explain he still “supports Colin and his stance on the injustices in the USA.”</p>
<p>The protest will be held on August 23rd in NYC outside of the NFL Headquarters.</p>
