<p>Ice Cube is coming forward and speaking on how he put his beliefs ahead of a multimillion-dollar movie role.</p>
<p>During his recent appearance on the <i><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MTlgZYBGTk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Million Dollaz Worth of Game</a> </i>podcast, Ice Cube broke his silence on past rumors regarding his departure from <em>Oh Hell No</em>, a movie he was set to star in alongside Jack Black.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Ice Cube Addresses Reports Surrounding <em>Oh Hell No</em> Exit</h3>
<p>The &#8220;Until We Rich&#8221; rapper initially acknowledged the matter, which began <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ice-cube-reportedly-leaves-9-million-behind-and-exits-upcoming-film-oh-hell-no-due-to-not-being-vaccinated/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">circulating online</a> last October, by seemingly confirming it.</p>

<p>He proceeded to confirm that the role would&#8217;ve put an extra $9 million in his pocket. Of course, Ice Cube also had to go on a little tirade about the coronavirus vaccine, as well as Hollywood.</p>

<p>Regarding his comments about Hollywood, we should note that his ire could possibly come from the fact that the industry allowed producers to implement on-set vaccine mandates, according to <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/hollywood-can-mandate-vaccinations-on-sets-say-studios-and-guilds-in-short-term-deal-1234984919/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Hollywood Reporter</a>.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Ice Cube Reveals He Was Actually Kicked From The Film</h3>
<p>In spite of these comments, Ice Cube went on to clarify that he didn&#8217;t exactly decline the role. Instead, higher-ups made the decision for the West Coast icon, as he wouldn&#8217;t follow the mandate by getting &#8220;the jab.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Kyrie Irving Faced A Similar Decision</h3>
<p>Of course, we have to mention that Ice Cube isn&#8217;t alone in missing out on opportunities over the COVID-19 vaccine.</p>
<p>Earlier this year, Brooklyn Nets athlete Kyrie Irving revealed that he gave up a 4-year contract that was worth over $100 million in order to remain unvaccinated, <a href="https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34672230/gave-4-year-100m-plus-extension-unvaccinated" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ESPN</a> reports.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I gave up four years, 100-and-something million deciding to be unvaccinated and that was the decision.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Aside from Ice Cube and Kyrie, plenty of other celebrities found themselves in a similar boat. <a href="https://deadline.com/2021/11/rockmond-dunbar-exits-911-covid-vaccine-mandate-medical-religious-exemptions-1234874927/">Rockmond Dunbar</a> exited <em>9-1-1</em> after refusing the vaccine, and a similar case is true for <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2021/11/24/steve-burton-fired-vaccine-mandate/">Steve Burton</a> of <em>General Hospital</em>.</p>
