<p>As the coronavirus continues to make its rounds, it looks like Idris Elba is the latest celebrity that has tested positive to the virus.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/idris-elba-tests-positive-coronavirus-1284878">The Hollywood Reporter</a></em>, he said, &#8220;This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.&#8221;</p>
<p>As we <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tom-hanks-reveals-he-his-wife-rita-have-tested-positive-for-coronavirus/">previously</a></em> reported, Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive, as well as NBA players Rudy Gobert, and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz and most recently Christian Wood from the Detriot Pistons.</p>
<p>Idris announced the news in a video posted to his social media. In the video, he was joined by his wife Sabrina, where he reassured to his supporters that he is doing okay. He said that Sabrina has not been tested, but she&#8217;s doing okay as well.</p>
<p>He proceeded to explain that he did not have any symptoms. However, he decided to get tested because he realized that had been in contact with someone that had tested positive. Once he found out about their positive status for the virus, he immediately quarantined himself and got tested.</p>
<p>He concluded the video by encouraging everyone to keep their distance and wash their hands because those who have been affected have not shown any signs.</p>

<p>As a result of the virus, many cities around the country have been placing strict orders to help limit the spread of the virus. Many schools have been closed until next month, cities have been placed on curfew, restaurants have only been limited to take-out, and many more steps are being performed to work towards the safety of others.</p>
